How To Organise The Best Girl’s Sleep Over Ever

By buyballoonboy, November 19, 2009 6:43 am

Slumber parties are popular among girls wanting to celebrate their birthday. There can be a lot of pressure on parents to organise the best party for their daughter. Some parents put this pressure on themselves as they try to organise a better party than any of the other mums at school. Making your daughter’s party the best it can be requires a bit of time and effort but it will be worth it when they tell you how much they enjoyed it and the wonderful time that they had with their friends.

It can be a good idea to have a fancy dress theme or style that all the guests stick to. Girls like to dress similarly in a pink velour tracksuit or fairy outfits. Making the clothing fun takes pressure off parent to find something suitable for their child to go to the party in.

A child’s party can fall apart if the food is not right. You need to make sure that the guests have no allergies and accommodate any special dietary requirements. After that, you can make anything you fancy for the children. So you don’t need plates, knives or forks, keep food finger sized and easy to pick at.

Pizza, crisps, cake and sausage rolls are all good choices. If you think you need healthy choices as well, provide vegetable sticks and fruit pieces but I cannot assure you that they will be popular.

Ask that children bring their own sleeping bag or duvet if you do not have enough for all the guests. If you make sleeping as comfy as possible, you will be more likely to wake up to happy guests.

Follow these tips and you are sure to throw a successful slumber party for your daughter.

Throwing a Party? – How to Do It Right

By buyballoonboy, October 26, 2009 4:21 am

Everybody will have to throw a big party at some point during their life.  This may be a birthday party, a normal get together or a graduation celebration. When you were younger, you would just wait for your parents to go out of town and then invite a bunch of friends over.  Boom, it’s a party.  If you had really nice friends throwing the party, maybe they would supply chips. If not, you can always just send out for pizza.

Being a responsible adult makes things a little more complicated when it comes to throwing a party. You have to consider the expectation levels of your guest since there is always a right way and a wrong way to do things when you are throwing a party.  But, this is not a problem because you can find out all there is to know about throwing a party right here.

The first thing you need to do is to decide what kind of party you are throwing.  Is it a holiday party, a graduation party, a birthday party, etc.  Is it going to be a surprise party? Most of these questions are fairly obvious and you probably already know the answer and have made your decisions.  A couple more obvious questions are; what is the main age group of the guests that will be attending the party and how many people are you planning to invite.  This will determine a great deal of the decisions you need to make for the party.

The age group of your guest will help you deiced what activities are necessary to keep everybody happy.  For instance, if you are planning to invite a lot of kids, it is a good idea to supply something that they can do or play with. When you know how many people will be at the party, you can determine how many and what supplies you will need.  What is your budget for the party?
